Reneé Mary Jane Rapp (born January 10, 2000) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her album Snow Angel, and playing Regina George in the movie adaptation of the "Mean Girls" Broadway musical. Previous to this, Rapp's feats included winning the 2018 Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and for taking over the role of Regina George in the Broadway musical Mean Girls. She also played Leighton Murray in HBO Max comedy series The Sex Lives of College Girls for its first two seasons as a main character and plans to return as a guest star in its third season. Rapp starred in the movie adaptation of the Mean Girls broadway musical, reprising her role as Regina George. In 2022 she started to record her own songs, Tattoos was released on June 3, 2022. In the Kitchen was released on July 22, 2022. Her EP Everything to Everyone released November 11, 2022, followed by its deluxe edition on February 24, 2023. That summer, Rapp released the lead single and title track to her album Snow Angel, as well as the single "Talk Too Much." which released August 18, 2023. Upon its release, Rapp promoted "Pretty Girls" as a single, and on November 17, 2023, released the deluxe edition of Snow Angel — accompanied by a remix of Tummy Hurts with Coco Jones, which was subsequently promoted as the record's fourth single.
