Recc were a self-described vicious rock and roll group that exploded onto the music scene in the early 2000's, when all the members were still in high school. It was not long before the band caught the attention of music critics and fans alike with their ground-breaking foot stomper "Beer Factory Day" as they did the rounds of the pubs and clubs of Central Scotland. Despite widespread success on the live scene, where they regularly headlined shows, and secured support slots with such established rock stars as Status Quo on their heavy traffic tour 2003 and alongside The Buzzcocks and The Levellers at cult festival 'The Wickerman', RECC never topped the national singles charts with releases Stereo Monster or Rock'n'Roll Nights, and split due to artistic differences in early 2004 later reforming as Household.
