Artist
Raymond Michael Garvey, known professionally as Rea Garvey (born 3 May 1973), is an Irish singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Germany. In 1998, he co-founded the band Reamonn, serving as its lead vocalist and frontman. During the band’s active years, Reamonn achieved commercial success across Europe, releasing several albums that reached gold and platinum status, including "Tuesday", "Dream No. 7", "Beautiful Sky", "Wish", and "Eleven", and undertaking multiple sold-out European tours. In 2010, following the release of the compilation album and DVD "Eleven" and an accompanying best-of tour, Reamonn disbanded. Garvey subsequently focused on a solo career, releasing his debut solo album "Can't Stand the Silence" in 2011. The album marked a stylistic shift from the rock-oriented sound associated with Reamonn toward an alternative electro-pop approach.
