Razing Babylon was formed back in 2003. Originally called Last Reaction, John, Jon, Josh, and Mike set out to make a name for themselves in the Cincinnati Rock Scene, playing a clubs such as Annie's, Never on Sundays, Radio Down, Top Cats, and more. After going through multiple lineup changes, Last Reaction called it quits in 2006. In 2009, Last Reaction reformed for one night only featuring original members John, Jon, Josh, Mike, and adding Mason Stamper (Mike's brother) on lead guitar. After the show, John was deployed to Iraq to serve a tour for the United States Army. Mike went on to play Drums for Black Veil Brides, Kentucky Myle, and some other side projects. Josh switched to bass to play with the band Vatica. Mason played drums for the bands For The Fairest, and is still currently the drummer for Ghost Man on First. In the summer of 2013, John, Jon, Josh, Mike and Mason decided to rejoin forces again to start writing brand new music. The music has a fresh new perspective, and the band is re-energized with a renewed focus to write the best music possible. They chose the name Razing Babylon, as it represents the current state of the world we live in. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
