Founded in early 2001, Tramping Ground is built on a solid foundation of Musicians from the Triangle area of North Carolina. Previously, as members of Dipleghia, Loosing Face, Circus, CloudNine, Faceless, and Stryknyne, the members of Tramping Ground developed sounds unique to themselves. Tramping Ground now spawns a unique blend of Alternative and Metal from their combined life experiences in the business. The members, having been in many other bands, were in search of a unique name for their band. Not just _any_ name, but rather a name that contained something about their North Carolina heritage... a name that fitted their blend of semi-gothic, tribal, and modern/alternative music sounds.
