Fueled by his Afro-Latino heritage, Rauli V’s compositions navigate multiple genres colliding Chaos with Latin Culture. Although he was born in NYC his journey with music began in Santo Domingo and continued on in the DMV, specifically Maryland. Live, Rauli is known for his disruptive stage presence, huge belting vocals and infectious passion on/off stage which led him to take matters into his own hands to remind the world that Dominican’s can head bang too. His Debut Single “Can’t Feel” was well received adding Rauli to the roster of new black Alternatives making a change for the masses in the underground scene. Afro-punk called him “Anthemic” while on YouTube his visual release soared over 160,000 views within the first two weeks. Rauli V is still in his freshmen year and is set to release this debut EP in the beginning of 2022 based on what he commented to Latin Vibes Radio. With that being said no matter the mood you will always make room for Rauli on your playlist due to his versatility and presence.
