There are 2 artists sharing the name In the Mourning: 1) In the Mourning is the brainchild of Amanda Tran, a Seattle-naive/LA-based singer, performing pop punk-inspired alternative tunes, a la Avril Lavigne, Paramore, and Demi Lovato. She has released a number of singles in 2021. 2) In the Mourning is an Acoustic/Alternative trio from Danville California, a small town north of San Ramon. The group was formed by Vocalist, Michael Warren and Guitarist, Thomas Focht. Both members had a long experience of playing in various band and street performing together which led them to agree on starting In the Mourning with a simple concept; The band would be able to relax in small coffee shops, while still having the energy to excite big venue crowds. To join them in this idea, In the Mourning recruited Alex ReVeal to perform bass and provide additional supporting vocals, finishing the trio labeled "In the Mourning".
