PSYCHOSOMATIK is Electronica / Industrial / Trance music from Saint-Pol-sur-Mer / Houdain, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. The band exists since September 2000, but the 2 members Michael Roussel & Frederic LeCieux have started to make music eight years ago. They made a mixing of new-beat, hardcore, trance with a minimal material, but were always influenced by bands like Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Front 242, Ministry, Mentallo & the fixers... All that will induce Michael & Frederic to make electronic tracks with distorted voices and dark atmospheres. Their music includes also guitars samples and metallic percussions with lyrics on the subject of the human decadence and the psychiatric troubles. “Psychopath?”(2003) is the first album of PSYCHOSOMATIK.
