Artist
Dataraper was a one-man project from 1999 to 2008. The French musician drifted through those inspiring years from early trance / rave influences to ebm, synthpop and every worthy kind of exciting experience the universe of electronic sounds might offer to him. In 2001, he released his first album through Brume Records, a French label. Named "Carbon Flora" the opus received a good welcome. A number of collaborations with French or international bands alike then marked his path steadily. In 2008, he began teaming regularly with another French female artist, and they produced new material together. Three covers were released in 2009 and 2010. They are : "Never Never", of the Assembly ; Two versions of "Faith Healer" by Recoil and the "Translation of Love" of Celluloide. They baptised this new duo Missing in Action, devoting it to covers and remixes., 2010 saw the release of Dataraper's fresh line-up second album "Naught Man's Land". The single is "Patchwork Landscape". Two songs followed in 2010, "Desert Spear", a tribute to Dennis Hopper and "Cruel Xmas". Both of these original titles are uploaded to youtube. Today Dataraper are preparing new tracks. They'll keep you updated soon... User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
