Procession Came Opposite is an ambient punk-rock band from Newtown, Philadelphia, United States that was formed by three lifelong friends in 1997. They are currently signed to Norword Records and have released two EPs ('Oceans' and 'Are We Getting Through?') and one self titled demo. In 1999, the band went through several name and style changes before they started to mix melodic punk with psychedelic rock, which is pretty much what they sound like to date. The band's name is taken from page 44 of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. In 2008, the band released "Pillars," which is the band's forth official release.
