The Fullblast were a punk rock band that formed in the Spring of 2000 from Ontario, Canada. They released a total of five recordings "The Movie Kisses Cassette EP" (2000, Independent), "Punk Technology Ver 1.0", "Constructing Fidelity" EP (2002, Independent), "Contagious Movement Theory" (2004, Black Box Recordings), and "Short Controlled Bursts" (2005, Dine Alone Records). They reformed in 2016 to release a 5 song EP called "Attack.Sustain.Decay" in 2017. They have played shows together since, notably at Super Friendly Fest in September 2022 in Edmonton. The Fullblast disbanded in 2006, they left the following message explaining on their MySpace: After 6 years, 5 releases, 9 members, 2 fill-ins, hundreds of thousands of kilometers and hopefully a few smiles, The Fullblast is done. Essentially, our drummer Andy has decided to join our friends Boys Night Out as guitarist. We will spare everyone the details of how things have gone down, but suffice it to say that it surprised us all, and disappointed, we dont feel like the band can move forward without him. We have all agreed that The Fullblast is to be laid to rest. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone that has helped us out over the years our families, our friends, our girlfriends (current or past), bands, our associates, and most importantly, the fans.
