Way back in 1981, when the brothers were learning to drive and cutting their teeth in the new wavey Post Raisin Band, Gulcher included their power pop classic 'Pink Lincoln' on its Various Hoosiers compliation, Red Snerts. Relocating to Milwaukee, Scott and Brian spent the 1980s polishing their songwriting in the Squares, and by decade-end had refocused as the eponymous Wooldridge Brothers.
