With great influences from alternative rock of the 80s, Popxula left their small milestone in the history of Portuguese rock. They still meet occasionally to give concerts. Emerged in the 90s, in the town of Sertã, they have performed several times in Sertã, "Big P" disco, and "Club de Cernache Bonjardim". They edited an LP, with several songs of success, among them "Zé Fagundes", "O carro funerário", "Nuvens" ("Acordar"), "Já me chamam doido", "Ecrã" , and many others. They also performed in music festivals, such as ROCK FEST'EM'VAL 96, or "Feira das Tradições 2008" in Sertã, where they also performed next to big names on Portuguese music, such as Da Weasel. They performed again in "Feira das Tradições 2009", providing an amazing show to the many fans who gathered at the stage, creating an great animation environment, waiting anxiously for their favorite songs. For 2009 is also scheduled a concert with the Philharmonic Band of Sertã, on 22 August, in Carvalha, Sertã. And also another concert at the festival of Club Cernache Bonjardim. In 2013 they released their first album, named "Quem?", that includes many already well known songs, but slightly re-imagined, including sometimes guest musicians.
