A Danish band formed in 2002 by Mathias Christiansen (vocals, guitar) and Bjarke Brandtoft (guitar). They needed a drummer, so Mathias asked his friend and classmate, Søren Bomand, to join. They then realised that they were in need of a bassist to beefen up the music. Søren was bored with playing drums, so he took on the bass, and asked his friend and drummer, Mikkel Furbo, to join. Mikkel's younger brother, Ralle, took on the guitar while Mathias still did the singing. Mynona was now a 5-piece, and they went on with playing small gigs around Vestsjælland. In January of 2006, Bjarke went to Jutland for 6 months to study, so Mynona needed a new guitarist. Søren was bored with playing bass, so he switched to guitar.
