1. Plain Jane were a glam metal band that Jani Lane and Steven Sweet were members of before they joined Warrant. Plain Jane recorded several demos, including a cover of "Time Warp" (from The Rocky Horror Picture Show), "Dance On The Flames", "California Stars", and pre-Warrant versions of "Heaven" and "Sad Theresa". 2. An obscure riot grrrl band from Olympia, WA. Nomy Lamm fronted it in hir teens. The other members were also teenagers. Probably active in the early 90s.
