Pina Napolitano began studying the piano at the age of 4 under the guidance of Giusi Ambrifi. After her conservatory diploma she went on to earn a diploma of “Alto Perfezionamento” in piano performance and one specialized in 20th century piano music at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese under the guidance of Bruno Mezzena. Meanwhile she graduated in classical studies and then in Russian literature from the university of Naples “L’Orientale”. She is currently finishing her Ph.D. in Russian literature at the Second University of Rome. She has performed across Italy, England, Switzerland, and Russia. She performed the Liszt Second Piano Concerto with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Pescara, and with an ensemble of the same orchestra performed in Ivan Fedele’s “La Chute de la Maison Usher”, conducted by Marco Angius. She is invited to take part of the jury of the upcoming international competition “Putevka k zvezdam” in Moscow.
