Artist
UK pianist Dorian Griner experienced his first encounter with piano in a musical family of Czech and German extraction. He began his piano studies under the supervision of his mother Bozena Griner, herself an accomplished pianist and professor. She has graduated from Moscow Conservatoire, having studied piano with legendary Heinrich Neuhaus, who had Sviatoslav Richter and Emil Gilels as his closest students. Dorian inherited his passion for piano from his mother, which later was developing into an individualistic, poetic approach, distinctively favouring repertoire from Romantic periods.
