Artist
Petrus de Drusina, also Piotr z Drużna, Piotr Drusiński, (born around 1560, died 1611) - Gdańsk, was a Renaissance composer . It is known that he was a son (or at least a relative) of a lutist, Benedykt of Drużno. He worked as an organist in the church of St. Barbara in Gdańsk and Elbląg. In the documents of that time, the form of writing his first and last name Piotr Drusinsky is seen. Most of his preserved compositions have survived to our times in the Oliwska Tablature. These are usually organ and organ preludes of motets. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
