Petra & Co was the moniker used from 1988 until 1992 by Flemish singer Petra de Steur (born in Knesselare, Belgium on 20 June 1972). Some call her the Belgian Madonna because of her different looks and genres. After 1992 she started using other monikers such as "Petra" and the latest being La Sakhra. She has entered the Belgian Eurosong contest in 1993 and 1999 unsuccessfully and so did not get to sing at the Eurovision Song Contest.
