Peter Jakober (*1977) Studied composition with Georg Friedrich Haas and Gerd Kühr at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz from 1998 to 2006. To date his works have been performed by ensemble recherche, Aleph Gitarrenquartett, Klangforum Wien, Arditti Quartett, Thürmchen Ensemble Köln, Grazer Orgelpfeifenorchester as well as other ensembles from Graz and Vienna. He received the City of Graz award for young composers 2006, the SKE Publicity Award, the Styrian Andrzej Dobrowolski composition scholarship 2010 and the Akademie Schloss Solitude scholarship 2011/2012.
