Born in 1976 in Lisbon, PAULA TEIXEIRA stepped the first time a stage, when having 12 years old in Teatro Maria de Matos. At 16 years she began playing guitar and incorporated several garage bands, and versions. She participated in several television competitions. She was rewarded with the 2nd place in the program CHUVA DE ESTRELAS in 1998, interpreting REACH, Gloria Stefan. She integrated bands of Adelaide Ferreira and Fernando Pereira. In 2001 she launched the 1st album of original PROMISE, followed by ANJO AZUL in 2003. Themes of the first two albums as PROMISE, SINTO-TE HERE, ACREDITAR ON ME, FRUTO PROIBIDO, were part of bands sound of television series such as Morangos com Açucar, Anjo Selvagem, Baia das Mulheres. The BEIJO DO SOL and O TEU FUTURO integrate now, the soundtrack of Doce Fugitiva, and the most recent release of Paula Teixeira Ilha dos Amores, is part of the novel with the same name, on display at TVI.
