She learned the traverse flute with Prof. Lars Nilsson at the Arts faculty of the University of Cuyo, earning a Bachelor´s degree, and went on to take advanced courses with Prof. András Adorjan at the “Académie International d´été” Nice (France), at the “Académie de Musique de Lausanne” (Switzerland), with Prof. Peter Graf in the city of Lenk (Switzerland), with Prof. Michel Debost at the “Accademia Musicale Ottorino Respighi” of Assisi (Italy), with prof. William Bennett al the “International Summer School Ramsgate” (England) and with Prof. Alfredo Iannelli in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been engaged as first flute by the major national orchestras, and also pursued teaching activities. As soloist she has appeared with prestigious national and foreign orchestras. Presently she is a member of the National Symphony Orchestra, The Argos Wind Quintet and the CEAMC Contemporary Music Quintet of Buenos Aires, and performs frequently in operas and ballets presented by the Experimentation Centre of the Colón theatre, Buenos Aires. Praised by critics in Argentina and abroad, she has received many important awards, among them the Konex prize, in 1999.
