Former members of Renft aka Klaus Renft Combo. Gerulf Pannach, German songwriter and lyricist, born 24 June 1948 in Arnsdorf, Germany, died 3 May 1998 in Berlin, Germany. With their mixture of folk and blues, Pannach and Kunert performed quite successfully in the West at the beginning, but they didn't make the big breakthrough. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Pannach and Kunert again gave more concerts, also and especially in Eastern Germany. On November 12, 1989, both were among the few musicians from the GDR who took part in the Concert for Berlin in the Berlin Deutschlandhalle.
