Founded in 1999, OverClocked ReMix is an organization dedicated to the appreciation and promotion of video game music as an art form. Its primary focus is ocremix.org, a website featuring thousands of free fan arrangements, information on game music and composers, resources for aspiring artists, and a thriving community of video game music fans. In addition to individual "ReMixes" released on its website, OverClocked ReMix also releases fan-made arrangement albums covering a wide variety of games in a wide variety of musical styles. While nearly all of these albums are freely available on its site, OverClocked ReMix has also collaborated with video game publishers to release fully-licensed, commercially available albums. The vast majority of OverClocked ReMix's catalog can be downloaded legally, for free, at ocremix.org.
