Oriol Benedet

Oriol Benedet , born 1983 in Barcelona, is a son of Catalonian jewellers and was raised in Gracia's neighbourhood. Started to play records at the age of fourteen and later started on musical production. He has worked with software like Rebirth, emulator of mitic TB303 and some years later, Reason, which has changed his way of working. When he finished high school, he studied to become sound technician. He specialized in Musical Production and Post-Production of audio for radio, movies and television. Oriol Benedet recognizes his source of inspiration in the dynamic and stimulant atmosphere of Barcelona. Actually its inherent in his tracks by sampling the city's ambience sounds. In March 2006, his first single shows us two propositions; the first one, Genètica, more melodic and signed with his influences in the last four years, the second, Biodegradable, is in the line of his futures releases, staying in one style but based on creative possibility's of a Studio.
