www.piemontmusic.com Piemont was founded by the Hamburg based producers Frederic Möring-Sack and Christian de Jonquieres, whose numerous releases and remixes under their alias Phunklarique and Dejonka have already gained a huge fan base over the past few years. The initial output for their early releases has been the own record labels Skjöldmusic (inactive), Suchtreflex and Wahrhaft (in cooperation with Plantage13) which they have been managing successfully since 2005 respectively 2007. Under Piemont they create music suitable for peak time as well as after hours and listening comfort. After their acclaimed debut EP ("Ice Instinct") on the label "HI Freaks" and another release on "Gedankensport", the single "Carbonat" appeared on the Cologne based label My best friend (MBF) in April 2007 and can be considered as their breakthrough. Until now MBF released four further prestigious Piemont singles: "Black Smoker" and “Central Mouth“ – to name a few. Beeing charted and droped by top class Djs such as Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Loco Dice and Dubfire Piemont quickly gained great public interest. It's not only their five records on MBF and two huge hits which have made Piemont decide to record an album. Much more than that, it is their consistency over the last years with various releases and remixes also on other labels, plus not accepting any conmpromise on style and quality that made them record a whole album of new tracks called: "Strange World Beyond".
