One Second Thought was formed in Queens, NY in the year 1994 by Shawn Gibbs and Eric Rockford. The band started by playing shows throughout the NY/NJ/CT area for about 2 years. They went through a few line-up changes and a 7" entitled Everyday Struggle was released on Free Sprit Records in 1996. Next up was their 1998 demo called Queens Style. Their their second guitarist, at that time, Cory moved to drums and got his place filled with a new guitarist Dan. Early 1999 One Second Thought had all set to record their debut full-length album Self Inflicted on Cartel Records.
