Kimball, bassist Jody Henry, and drummer Steve Wittig. They signed with Metal Blade Records in 1984 and released several albums during the 1980s, including "Battle Cry" (1984), "Warning of Danger" (1985), "The Curse" (1986), "Nightmares" (1987), and "Escape to Nowhere" (1988). Despite shifts in the rock and metal scene during the decade, Omen maintained a focus on power metal rather than adopting glam or pop-metal trends.
