Oliver Knight is a guitarist, singer/songwriter and sound engineer from the UK. He is son of folk singer/songwriter Lal Waterson and George Knight. Oliver developed a writing partnership with his mother and eventually, collaboratively recorded the studio albums "Once In A Blue Moon" and “A Bed Of Roses”. Lal Waterson died in 1998 just before “A Bed Of Roses” was finished. The material was fully recorded already and it was released posthumously. In 2002, Knight released Mysterious Day, a 'solo' album on Topic Records featuring vocals by Christine Collister, Eliza Carthy, Norma Waterson, Marry Waterson, John Tams and Barry Coope and additional instrumentation is provided by Chris Parkinson (piano & harmonica), Jo Freya (sax), Alice Kinloch (tuba) and Andy Cutting (melodeon). In 2011 he and sister Marry Waterson released 'The Days That Shaped Me' on One Little Indian records .
