Ola Ohm was born in Haugesund in 1978. Following basic music education in the local music school, he attended Stord upper secondary school to study music. After finishing here, he went to Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London to study, and after one year came to Stavanger, where he is still based. As an educated church organist and Lutheran minister, he continues to play concerts alone and with other musicians. In 2004, the album Lengt was released, and in 2009, the album Håp.
