Oh My Heart is a pop rock group from San Francisco, California. The band consists of guitarists Derek Cox and Drew Zamora, singer Jamie Piazza, bassist Forbes Zamora, and drummer Noel Agtane. It began with Derek and Forbes, who enlisted their friend and coworker Noel. After writing several songs as a trio, they went on the hunt for a singer, and found Jamie. Oh My Heart began as a four piece band, but soon realized that they needed a second guitarist, which is when Forbes' brother Drew joined. Utilizing Forbes’ driving bass lines with his brother Drew's solid backing rhythm, Noel’s hard fundamentalist beats, they create a very solid back bone. Derek is free to play airy riffs and up beat chord progressions, upon which Jamie’s classically trained voice meld together to create a sound all their own. Oh My Heart has completed their debut EP with Donald Scully, which is due to release August 10th 2013.
