Constant Supply (James Gillen and Conal Sweeney) have been playing music together on and off since they were 13. After about 3 years of playing acoustic sets (because they couldn’t find a decent drummer) James decided to purchase a drum machine before Xmas 09. They haven’t looked back since. Their songs are now fully formed for peoples ears. Excited and itching to play live, they decided to firstly record their debut EP "Alleviate" in March 2010 with Tommy McLaughlin (Villagers) in his lovely Attica studio in Termon, Donegal. The band were delighted with how it turned out and self-released the EP in June 2010. The EP was then stocked by Tower Records in Dublin and the famous Rough Trade Shops in London. Constant Supply were featured in the New Music section of The Irish Times supplement, The Ticket, on Friday July 30th, 2010. Having already recorded their first radio session for Green And Live, 95fm in Limerick(October 14th), the band were then invited to record a session for Dan Hegarty's show on 2fm, at the famous Studio 8(December 6th). Constant Supply have agreed to release their EP "Alleviate" through independent record label Take Aim Fire Records, from Leeds, UK.
