Offpist was a Norwegian punk band formed in a small town of Hurum, Norway in september 2000. The band relocated to Oslo in 2007. Heavily influenced by the California punk rock scene, Offpist released one full-length album and 3 EP’s between 2004 and 2010. When releasing their full-length album, "DeathRace Circus" in 2006 CitySlang Zine wrote that “Offpist has produced an album of international standards, not necessarily because the album is mixed by califonia-punk-guru Ryan Greene (NOFX, Lagwagon, Megadeath), but since the band shows such a steadfast contempt for the mediocrity it simply has to be good punk rock music”.
