Oceán was famous cult Czech synth pop band, formed in České Budějovice in 1985. They were one of the most popular and successful Czech music bands in late 80's and early 90's, which musical style is often compared to Depeche Mode. In 1990, they supported Erasure on their UK tour. The band split up in present. Oceán consists of the following members: Jitka Charvátová (vocals), Petr Kučera (keyboards), Jan Vozáry (drums and percussion), Dušan Vozáry (keyboards), Petr Hons (lyrics), The band came back to music career in 2010. New single Odlesk Tvůj released on 18th April 2011. Petr Muk (exmember of the band) and Petr Kučera continued their cooperation in Shalom project, later Petr Muk went on solo career. Brothers Jan Vozáry and Dušan Vozáry performed in few other musical projects like Fiction (founded with famous Czech underground musician Milan Hlavsa), Déva and Lorien.
