Artist
Surprisingly sardonic, filled up with energy of last hope for salvation from self-destruction. Sexually defiant, open and intensive. Their music tells stories of mental collapse and desperation (Spiral), obsessive memories of a nailed wooden figure of Jesus in Mary’s arms watching your every step (Anywhere), emotional loser destroyed by own mistakes (Sway), manic-depressive psycho hurting his partner and begging for understanding (Tell Me You Understand Me) or a wretch, for whom his opposite “shines too bright” to be loved (Ultraviolet). This, and many more is hidden beneath the electro-guitar sound of the Prague’s four. It’s been few years since Janne Marvannen (vocal), Robert Broj (keyboards), I.G. Dvorsky (drums) and Vito Hayek (guitar) kicked off with their well-appraised melancholy debut “Sunrise”. And today, after touring to support their 2007 release “EXIT:NOWhere”, the band is now yet ahead of a new adventure of clearing the bar. A necessity to learn about this jewel from the heart of Europe for someone loving Depeche Mode, Placebo, IAMX, De/Vision, Mesh or New Order.
