Was awarded the Norwegian Grammy, “Spellemann” in 2008 for their album “High Roller”. ORBO are the initials of front man Ole Reinert Berg-Olsen, and with him on stage are Ine Tumyr, Reidar Opdal, Paul Inge Vikingstad and Stian Tumyr. Together they make one of the hardest working live bands in Norway. After ten years of endless driving, wet asphalt and a tour bus on high octane, this band has learned their craft the hard way. ORBO & The Longshots has recorded their albums all over the west from the mountains of Norway to legendary Sun Studio, Memphis, Tn. Soon, they can celebrate 1000 live shows, including as a support act for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Little Feat, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Delbert McClinton.
