Dance with a stranger is among the most popular bands in Norwegian history. The vocalist, Elg, has a special, almost "black" voice. Frode Alnæs is perhaps the best musician in the group. With his talent and Elgs voice they wanted to create their own sound. The idea: a mix between soul, blues and soft rock. They were on top in the late 80's and early 90's.
