Noise Tales are a German Indie -/ Folktronica - band which has formed in 2000 in a small town called Mittweida. Largely influenced by Alternative rockbands like Nirvana, 50s & 60sicons like Johnny Cash or the Beatles and House & Electronic music on the other hand the two college mates Mirko Schmidt and Thor Gerius decided to develop a music which at first had strong resemblances to the Gorillaz. Early versions of these songs made it onto several compilations of the net label 1-bit-Wonder. After a long line of disruptions and dead-ends, Noise Tales revived their musical work and debuted with their first album Humps, bumps & lumps as a self-published release. Simultaneously, Noise Tales have produced videos to each of their songs, which were published as a video long player.
