Nicolas-Antoine Bergiron de Briou (b. Lyons, Dec. 12, 1690; d. there, before April 27, 1768) was a French composer of the Baroque period. He studied classical literature and law at the Univ. of Paris. With J.P. Christin, he established in 1713 the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Lyons, with which he remained associated in various capacities until 1764.
