He was born and brought up in Chennai. His first step into the world of music began as early as age 4. Smt. N Kesi, a President Awardee, trained him in classical music till about the age of 13.His career kicked off with ad-jingles and film-recordings for regional languages. His biggest break in the film industry was through the Tamil movie Veyil, with music composer G.V Prakash, for the song Veyilodu Vilayadi. Since then he have played the flute for several film compositions across the South Indian Film Industry. Apart from the industry, I have also had the opportunity to get involved in several international collaborations.
