Doom metal/Traditional metal/Classic metal band from Eastern Connecticut Mourn the Light is a Traditional Heavy Metal/Doom band from Norwich, CT. Formed in late 2017 by New England Stoner and Doom Fest co-founder Dwayne Eldredge and Bury The Needle radio host Gregory Gates, MTL quickly made their presence known with the three-track EP Weight of the World. In March, the band embarks on their first US tour with stops in CT, DE, OH, WI, IL, TX, TN, and NC -- including a performance at the SX Stoner Jam 19 in Austin. Following the tour, MTL will be playing at the 2nd Annual New England Stoner and Doom Fest in early May.
