Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Style: Shred Metal, Techno Shred Metal and Bluesy Rock Instrumentals Michael is an Instrumental Guitarist with 30 years of Shred/Metal/Industrial and Rock Band Recording, Touring and Live Performance experience, signed to MYSTERIA Records which became part of PolyRam Music Group in 2012. Michael’s music has a very unique sound, having the appeal of Shred but avoiding the cliches of the style and forging his own voice on the instrument, within the genre of Instrumental music. Michael’s guitar style is unmistakable and unconventional, yet melodic and fast enough to appease fans of Shred without being strictly Neoclassical. His LATEST CD entitled “I Shred, Therefore, I Am” is Michael’s most versatile effort to date, The guitarist is branching out from his Shred and Metal root’s with a couple of Bluesy/Rock tunes that have serious grooves and a Non-Metal approach to the solos. There’s also a song that captures the sound of Arabic instruments, all done with a guitar and a DIGITECH Whammy pedal and of course the remainder of the disc captures all the Shred Metal mayhem you’d expect from MLO. Michael performs Live sans band with backing tracks and has opened for Favored Nation’s Recording Artist ANDY TIMMONS, Grammy Award winning Producer/Guitarist LARRY MITCHELL and GREAT WHITE With his former band SYSTEMIC he opened for ULI JON ROTH, MICHAEL SCHENKER AND BLUES SARACENO.
