Against popular belief, they have no connection or correlation to Carlos Mencia. Alternative Riot recorded their debut EP "First of All" in the early winter of 2012 at Storage Studios with Audio engineer Anthony Evangelista. The band's current lineup consists of guitarist/writer/vocalist Denny Wright, drummer Micah Korson, keyboard/keytarist Marshall Wright, and the bassist Joe Renken.
