Mellotrons is a Brazilian indie rock band from Recife, Pernambuco. The band is formed by Haymone Neto (guitars/vocals), Enio (guitars/vocals), Marcos Müller (bass) and Augusto César (drums). They're influenced by Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Interpol, My Bloody Valentine and the artists from Clube da Esquina. The name of the band comes from an analogic keyboard popular in the 60's and used by many bands such as The Beatles, Kraftwerk, and Radiohead.
