Mbaye Dieye Faye is a famous singer and percussionist in Senegal. He was born in a modest family of griots. He had a difficult life before he became a his celebrity. It's very difficult to say that he is griot, that's why he is singing. Indeed it is a passion for him to sing. He dreamt to be one of the famous singers in the country.He grew in a family griot but he had some problems when he wanted to be a singer. In fact, formally people used to say that when you sing, you are going to take a bad way.
