Lemzo Diamano was one of the hottest acts in Senegal in the 90's, it was the brain child of Musician Lamine Faye formerly of Diamano Oumar Pene. This group had wide recognition as it combine talents like Fallou Dieng, Mada Ba, Alioune Mbaye Nder, Amat Samb and Salaam Diallo. Most of the group members went on to pursue solo careers and became successful in their own right and new characters joined the group. Pape Diouf and Amy Mbengue were some of the members who joined later and went on to solo careers, it is fair to say that Lemzo was a training ground for all of those artist!
