Mazin Silva (Mazinho da Silva) is a musician from Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brasil, that play some cover songs and mainly his own songs. Mazinho play jazz, Brazilian jazz and bossa nova, with lots of influence of various rhythms and sounds authentically from Brazil. At eight years of age begins to run the first chords by family influences. At twelve began playing guitar in the band of his father. At 23, already mature, begin to deepen their knowledge, devoting himself entirely to his career. Living in Paraná begins to integrate Cascavel Jazz Band (instrumental). In 1999 participates in the National Competition of Instrumental Music. Naturally stands and among musicians around the country is in second place. It is recognized and rewarded (win a guitar, equipment and prize money). In that same year participated in the Cascavel Jazz Festival, with Arismar do Espírito Santo, Silvia Góes, Thiago do Espírito Santo e Djalma Lima. Exchanged ideas and was again recognized.
