Max Meser is a Dutch/Spanish singer and songwriter. His music has been compared to the sounds of Jake Bugg. His début album is set for release in Spring 2016. Artist biography: Sometimes there are artists who cross all kinds of borders naturally, like for instance the ones between countries, musical tastes and generation gaps. Max Meser is one of those. He has two nationalities: Spanish and Dutch. But essentially he sees himself as a European. "When you've listened to The Beatles from an early age onwards, you automatically look across borders," he says. No flaw in that argument. In terms of taste Meser fits equally well with young geezers from today’s pop scene like Miles Kane and Jake Bugg, but just as much with blasts from the past like sixties pop icons such as The Kinks and The Who. There is something in his guitar playing that touches upon fifties rock 'n' roll, that very same crystal clear jingly jangly guitar sound that made nineties indie pop band The La's from Liverpool so irresistible. With him the times and influences inadvertently roll in to one. The boy grew up, constantly adapting himself to many challenges. Meser (22) hails from the Costa Brava in Spain.
