Mathias Gundhus (born 18 June 1992) is a Norwegian singer/songwriter. Primarily a vocalist, he also accompanies himself on piano or synth. Born in Geithus, he is still living at home with his parents, brother and dog. Gundhus seeks inspiration from his daily, solitary walks to his favourite pine tree. Heavily influenced by bands such as Muse and Coldplay, Gundhus has a love for piano-pieces along with intense vocal. Gundhus seems to identify himself with his idols, as he has said himself in an interview at his local school. "I just can't seem to love a woman's voice as much as for example Chris' (Martin). Maybe it's because I can identify myself with him and not so much with a woman." His debut single is expected to receive very positive reviews, and a bright future is predicted for this young lad.
