Anana, or Anniken Jess Iversen, makes "underwater pop". Her sound is a beautiful whirr of melancholic vocals, electronic twinkle and gently-subdued bass wobble. In 2011 she was chosen as a semifinalist for "Årets urørt" by the Norwegian state broadcaster radio channel NRK P3. Even though she didn't win, her music and fanbase has grown and evolved in the underground music scene in Norway.
